Last year, all the schools, colleges and other educational institutions in the country were closed as soon as the corona epidemic started wreaking havoc all over the world. However, later when the situation improved, many states decided to reopen the schools. But, due to the second wave of Corona, they were closed again. Now in view of the continuous decrease in the cases of corona, many states are considering restarting the educational institutions. Know which states are preparing for reopening schools-
Educational institutions have reopened in Bihar from Monday i.e. July 12. During this, schools, colleges, government and private universities and technical institutes of 11th-12th class of the state have started again with 50 percent attendance. The state government has directed all schools and colleges to strictly follow the Corona guidelines. Under this, instructions have also been given to make special arrangements for thermal screening at the gate of the institute. Along with this, special arrangements will be made for vaccination of adult students and girl students, teachers and staff of educational institutions.
The state government has given permission to resume schools for classes 9 to 12 with social distancing from July 16. At the same time, schools for classes 6 to 8 will reopen from July 23. Apart from this, if the situation remains normal, schools will be opened for other classes. However, online classes will continue and students who wish to attend will be allowed to do so. Written permission will be required from the parents of the students to attend the school.
The Uttar Pradesh government has allowed the reopening of primary and upper primary schools for teachers and staff to continue administrative work for the time being. At the same time, students are still not allowed to come to school till further orders. In such a situation, only online classes are going on in the state at present.
The Maharashtra government has decided to open schools in such areas where no positive case of corona infection has been reported in the last month. Schools have been allowed to resume offline classes for class 8th to 12th students from July 15. Before starting school, corona vaccination of all teachers and non-teaching staff in schools will be necessary.
