State’s Relief Commissioner Ranvir Prasad informed about the rain situation and said that at present all the embankments in the state are safe, there is no worrying situation anywhere. In the last 24 hours, the average rainfall in the state is 2.4 mm, which is 25 percent against the normal rainfall of 9.6 mm. Thus, the average rainfall in the state since June 01, 2021 till now is 183.3 mm, which is 76 percent against the normal rainfall of 238.5 mm.
Prasad informed that a total of 3675 dry ration kits have been distributed so far. A total of 11,701 food packets have been distributed so far. 330 flood shelters and 590 flood outposts have been established in the state. Number of animal camps set up in the state in the last 24 hours 06 So far a total of 148 animal camps have been established. The number of animal vaccinations in the last 24 hours is 2852 and so far the total number of animal vaccinations is 78647.
