IT company Mindtree has released its first quarter results on Monday. The company has made a profit of Rs 343.3 crore during April-June. There was a profit of Rs 213 crore in the year-ago quarter. That is, the company’s profit has increased by 61% on a yearly basis.
Revenue up 20% in June quarter
According to the exchange filing, Mindtree’s income grew 20% to Rs 2,291.7 crore as against Rs 1,908.8 crore in the June quarter last year. Along with this, the company has also got an order of $ 504 million. EBita remained flat in the first quarter, while EBita margins increased 20.3% to 160 basis points.
Debashish Chatterjee, CEO and MD, Mindtree said, “Based on the Q1 results, we have a good start to the financial year 2021-22 with positive growth across all service lines and industry segments.
Attrition rate increased to 13.7%
The company said that it has hired 3,442 new employees in the first quarter of the current financial year. The attrition rate has increased from 12.1% to 13.7% during the same period. That is, the number of employees leaving the company has increased.
