According to reports, Bezos has chosen this day to go to space because Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin reached the Moon exactly 52 years ago in 1969, through the Apollo 11 spaceship.

A week before this, on July 11, British billionaire Richard Branson’s Virgin Space Ship (VSS) Unity spaceplane flight was successful. They went for 85 km. Where and when will Bezos’ flight take off?

  • Bezos’ flight will be a 10-12 suborbital flight, that is, it will not go to Earth’s orbit. The New Shepard rocket of Bezos’s Blue Origin company will take off from the desert of West Texas at around 6:40 pm Indian time on July 20.
  • Passengers got on-board 45 minutes before launch. The crew has undergone 48 hours of training for the mission. It’s been good. The employees have also done two-day training of eight hours each. This training will be mandatory for all the customers who have purchased the ticket. The rocket will be accompanied by a capsule, which will be accompanied by Bezos’ brother Mark, 82-year-old Wally Funk and 18-year-old teenager Oliver Damon. After this flight, Funk will become the oldest and Damon the youngest astronaut.
  • After a flight of about 3 minutes, Bezos’ capsule will separate from Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket and move forward in space. After flying for 4 minutes he will cross 100 km up ie Carman line.
  • During this, the passengers will feel weightlessness and the capsule will begin to return to the ground. After a flight of about 10-12 minutes, the capsule will land in the desert with the help of parachute. During this time the rocket will also return to Earth. Rockets and capsules can be used over and over again.

Flight will also make many records
This flight will also set many records. This will be Blue Origin’s first pilotless suborbital flight with civilians on board. The oldest and youngest astronauts are also going to be made from this flight. The New Shepard rocket and its capsule RSS first step can be reused.

Rockets and capsules have flown before and have successfully landed twice before this mission. So far 15 flights have been successful for New Shepard. But till now the passengers never left.
