Drone movement has been seen once in Satwari area of ​​Jammu. The drone was spotted at around 4:15 am on Tuesday. Army personnel first saw this drone in the area. After this, the army also informed the local police about the matter. There are Cantt and Airforce stations in the vicinity of Satwari area.

In view of August 15, security agencies in Jammu and Kashmir are on alert. The DGP of Jammu and Kashmir Police had held a high-level meeting on the previous day itself. All the top officials were involved in this. In this, security agencies were asked to be on alert in view of the possible danger of drones.

There was an attack on the Air Force station on 26 June.
Earlier on the night of 26 June, there was a drone attack on the Jammu Air Force Station. The second incident happened the next day. In this, drones were seen flying near Kaluchak Military Station. The very next day i.e. on June 28, the suspicious drone was seen near Sunjwan Military Station.

Some media reports say that drones have also been seen in Kunjwani and Kaluchak areas, although it has not been confirmed whether the same drone was seen in all three places or they were different. Security agencies have become alert after this incident.

Drone attack for the first time in the country

  • On the intervening night of 26-27 June, two drone blasts were carried out at the Jammu Air Force Station. The roof of the Air Force station was damaged in this attack and two soldiers were also injured. Two IEDs were dropped inside the airbase through drones.
  • This was the first attack of its kind. The blast happened close to the Indian aircraft. This place is at a distance of 14 kilometers from the International Border. Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh called the attack a terrorist attack.
