Domino’s Pizza maker Jubilant Food reported a profit of Rs 62.6 crore in the June quarter. While it was Rs 72.6 crore in the same quarter a year ago. At the same time, the revenue coming from operation increased by 131% to Rs 879 crore.
In an exchange filing, the company said that the second to June quarter of Corona was one of the toughest quarters. As a result, profit declined 14% year-on-year. EBITDA stood at Rs 211.5 crore, while EBIT margin stood at 24.1%.
The company said that the store sales growth stood at 114.2%, which was negative in the same quarter last year. Jubilant Food, on the other hand, opened 20 new Domino’s stores during April to June. Also opened three new Dunkin’ Donuts and 6 new restaurants.
