Anupam told that one of his journalist friends had taken him to a party, in which many stars attended. He said, “I was amazed at that time. I was in Bombay for the last two years, but I was watching all the actors there. And suddenly when I saw Dilip sahab coming, I went to him and I Said, ‘Hello, sir’.”

Dilip sahib had probably mistook Anupam as his acquaintance.

Anupam further said that Dilip Sahab probably mistook him for an acquaintance. He says, “So he said, holding my hand, take it beside him like this, ‘Son, where do you live? Seen after a long time’.
