Devshayani Ekadashi 2021 Date: Devshayani Ekadashi is considered special in Hinduism. Chaturmas begins on this day. Lord Vishnu becomes absorbed in yoga nidra for four months from this date. According to the Panchang, on July 19, 2021, the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month is starting from Monday. But the Ekadashi fast will be kept on Tuesday, 20 July 2021 and the Parana of Devshayani Ekadashi fast i.e., 21 July 2021, will be done on Wednesday, the date of Dwadashi.

Chatumars ends on Devuthani Ekadashi. Lord Vishnu comes out of yoga nidra on the date of this Ekadashi. Manglik and auspicious work starts as soon as Chaturmas ends. Marriage and mundan etc. are done.
