When she reached home on the first day, I was in touch with her. She reached the government hospital to get her temperature checked and informed us about it.
Sheeba told- I used to call that student 2 to 3 times a day. Initially, he was not showing any symptoms, but after three-four days when I called, he told that he is having a little pain in his throat. I immediately told this to the medical authorities of the district and he was taken to the hospital. Later his report came corona positive. It was the first positive case in the country.
Returned home and celebrated brother’s birthday
Health Inspector Shiba said that two days after returning from Wuhan, the medical student celebrated the younger brother’s birthday. Brother had also called some friends home to give treats. When the friends came home, the girl was at home although she was under quarantine.
As a precautionary measure, the panchayat and the administration had considered those children as primary contacts and asked to be quarantined along with the family. Sheeba told that the medical student was cooperating with the health workers. All she wanted was that if her report came positive, her parents should not be told immediately, she was afraid that she might not get scared.
