Washington Sundar made his Test debut on Team India’s last tour of Australia.

Sundar could only score 1 run
Washington Sundar could only score 1 run while playing for County Select XI. Sundar, who came out to bat at number 4, was dismissed by Mohammad Siraj on a short pitch ball. He did not get bowling in India’s first innings.
Shubman Gill was injured after the final of the World Test Championship against New Zealand.
Virat’s team may demand replacement
The Test series hasn’t even started yet and 3 players have been injured. It is being speculated that Team India, captained by Virat Kohli, may demand a replacement for him. According to reports, two openers were demanded after Gill’s injury, but the selectors refused. Right now there will be a shortage of bowlers practicing in the nets due to the injuries to Sundar and Avesh. So replacement can be sent instead.
