Veteran actor Dilip Kumar is no more with us but he has surely left his infinite memories among his fans, friends and family members. Now recently, director Subhash Ghai, who directed Dilip Kumar in the film ‘Karma’, has shared an anecdote related to him. Subhash shared a post on social media on Friday, stating that Dilip Kumar has never endorsed any advertisement in his life. However, Dilip Kumar did only one ad, for which he did not take a single penny.
Subhash Ghai shared the poster of the only ad done by Dilip Kumar and wrote, “Dilip Kumar always stood by his friends… He never did any advertisement in his entire career. However, Baburao Patel, Editor of Film India magazine The only exceptions were those who were also involved in naturopathy.Dilip Kumar had only advertised one of Baburao’s products, for which he did not take a single penny from his friend.

Dilip Kumar died on 7 July at the age of 98 after a prolonged illness. Dilip Kumar was given a final farewell with full state honors at Juhu Cemetery in Mumbai. Talking about Dilip Kumar’s acting career, it lasted for more than six decades. He did more than 65 films in his career. He appeared in films like ‘Devdas’ (1955), ‘Naya Daur’ (1957), ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ (1960), ‘Ganga Jamuna’ (1961), ‘Kranti’ (1981) and ‘Karma’ (1986). Known for his iconic roles in His last film was ‘Qila’, which released in 1998.
