The country’s second largest telecom company Bharti Airtel has made the tariff plans given to corporate and retail customers expensive. The company has increased the rates of postpaid connections. Its focus is on increasing the revenue from each customer.

After this decision, the company’s stock rose more than 4% to close above Rs 547. The company said that the postpaid tariff has been increased for enterprise customers while the pack has also been increased for all postpaid plans including retail customers.
Rs 199 and Rs 249 plan ends
Airtel has abolished Rs 199 and Rs 249 for corporate in its postpaid plans. Its entry plan for corporate customers will now start at Rs 299. According to the company, now all its postpaid connections will start from Rs 299. It will be added in the next billing cycle. Airtel has now discontinued the family postpaid connection of Rs 749 for retail customers. In its place, now a plan of Rs 999 will have to be taken. In this, the company will give more benefit of data.
Now there will be only one pack for the family
This is the only plan of the company for the family plan. Through this Airtel wants to increase the earnings from every customer. Airtel has focused only on high end postpaid connections. Feedback received from retail customers
The company said it had received some feedback from customers on retail postpaid plans. Customers wanted more data for the whole family. For this reason it has been increased. Since Corona, it is believed that the digital needs of the people have increased and due to this more data is being used. That is why the company has made them expensive by increasing the data in all these postpaid plans. The company said that if customers want in their current plans, they can take it by increasing the data.
Vodafone Idea also increased the price
Earlier Vodafone Idea had also increased the prices of its two high end plans. It was increased by Rs 50. Its family pack has become Rs 749 instead of Rs 598 and Rs 799 instead of Rs 649. On the other hand, the government has approved Vodafone Idea’s proposal to invest Rs 15,000 crore, which will come through FDI. Due to this, its shares had seen a rise of more than 6% this afternoon.
