Manish Sisodia said that the world has started work on a vaccine for children below the age of 12 years. The central government should not leave any stone unturned in this.

Amidst the outcry of the second wave of Corona in the country, preparations to avoid the third wave have started being discussed. Some experts believe that a possible third wave could have a greater impact on children. Meanwhile, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia told the Center that the government should actively procure the corona vaccine for children, as many countries have started work on it.

Sisodia said through social media that the world has started work on a vaccine for children below the age of 12 years. The central government should take all possible steps to proactively procure as many vaccines as possible to keep our children safe.

Delhi government has been surrounding the center regarding the vaccine
Earlier, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had also expressed concern about the attack of Corona on children. He warned the central government about the corona variant spreading in Singapore. He had said that the variants found there are dangerous for children. That’s why we should stop flights there. However, it was later denied by the Singapore government.

Covaxin trial underway
Meanwhile, the trial of Bharat Biotech’s corona vaccine Covaxin has started on children below 18 years of age in the country. The effect of the vaccine on children between the ages of 2 and 18 is being tested at AIIMS in New Delhi and Patna.

316 cases in Delhi on the last day
316 people were found corona positive in Delhi on Tuesday. 521 people were cured and 41 died. So far 14.29 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, more than 14 lakh people have been cured, while 24,668 patients have died. 4,962 patients are being treated here.
