We have overtaken the US in terms of the number of people who received the first dose of the vaccine in our country. However, the country needs more time to achieve higher vaccination rates. According to them, 29.77 crore doses of vaccine have been given to the people in America so far. While a total of 21.83 doses have been given in India.
