Another disturbing news has come out from China in front of the world battling Corona. In the eastern province of Jiangsu, a case of human being infected with the bird flu strain has been reported. This has been confirmed by the National Health Commission of China. This is the first case of human being infected with the bird flu virus.

NHC said in a statement released on its website that a 41-year-old man has been infected with the H10N3 bird flu strain. The person came in the grip of this virus by rearing poultry. However, the scope for the virus to spread is very low.

People who met the infected were also kept under observation.
The Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that the patient’s blood samples were taken last week. After th is their genome was sequenced. It was found that it is the HI0N3 bird flu strain. Also, contract tracing of those meeting the infected person is also being done. All the people have been kept under observation.

Experts said – keep distance from sick or dead birds
After the first such case was reported, experts have advised that people of the area should avoid coming in contact with sick or dead chicken and birds. Along with this, special attention has been asked to take special care of food.

H5N8 avian influenza was found in February
There are many strains of avian influenza in China. Earlier in February, China reported an outbreak of H5N8 avian influenza in the city of Lianyungang. It was then told that this virus is a subtype of bird flu virus. It is dangerous only for humans. Apart from this, H5N6 avian flu was found in wild birds during April.
