The government is going to make some important changes to reduce the increasing pressure on the Kovin portal used for registration, slot booking and certificate of corona vaccine. According to the report of Times of India, users who generate more than 50 OTPs in 24 hours on the portal and after registering more than 1000 for the vaccine slot will be blocked. Such users will be able to search slots or login again on Kovin after 24 hours from their registered mobile number.
An official associated with the portal said that such users who try to search 20 or more slots within 15 minutes, they will be logged-out immediately by the system. He said that an option has been given to check the availability of slots on the portal without even login. In such a situation, the user does not need to do much searching after login. We have taken this step with the aim of safety and reducing the load on the portal.
