A bench of Justice Sanjeev Narula heard the petition filed by the film makers and father of Sushant Singh Rajput. Where he ordered that the film should not be released till the decision came. It is worth noting that the makers had announced to release it on June 11, but if the decision does not come till 11, then the makers will have to stop the release. The court has reserved its decision for the June 2 hearing. However, Chander Lal, counsel for the makers, said – The film’s release has been widely publicized and hence we cannot give any assurance regarding its withdrawal.

In view of Lal’s arguments, the court said that if the court is unable to pronounce the verdict before June 11, it will take up the matter again before that date and pass an interim order staying the release of the film.
