The schedule of admission for the new session in all Kendriya Vidyalayas of Uttar Pradesh was released on Thursday. Applications have already been taken for admission to Class I of Kendriya Vidyalaya. On the basis of these applications, the first list will be released on June 23. Apart from this, the process of admission in class 11 will start after 10 days of the declaration of 10th result. Except for class 11, the last date for admission in all other classes has been fixed as August 31.

KVS now draws its own lottery for admission. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has already stopped the system of lottery through schools. As soon as the first list of selected students will be released by the organization on 23rd June, parents will get SMS on the mobile registered in the form and email will be sent to the registered mail. In which information will be given about the selection of their child. The children selected by the schools themselves are also called by phone for the admission process, admission is informed.
First, the children of military personnel, admission from MP and ministerial quota, children of central personnel, children of state personnel are given priority in admission according to the category. Finally the civilian children get admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas. Only applicants living within a radius of 5 km from the school are given admission. The second list will be released if the seat becomes vacant.

Admission for 480 seats in three schools of Meerut
In Meerut, the first lottery will be held on June 23 for admission to 480 seats in the first class in all three schools namely Central Sikh Lines, KV Punjab Lines and KV Dogra Lines. There are four sections of first grade in every school. 40 students will be admitted in each section. Thus in every school 160 students are enrolled in the first grade. There will be admission for 480 seats in three schools. 8 thousand applicants have claimed for admission.
