Uttar Pradesh is now moving towards unlock after the corona infection rate came down to 1%. The Yogi government on Sunday announced the removal of lockdown from 55 out of 75 districts of the state. The weekend lockdown (Saturday-Sunday) will now apply. The shop and market will now open from 7 am to 7 pm. Till now only grocery, medical shops were allowed to open till 11 am. Although shopping malls will remain closed.
Corona curfew has been extended till June 7 in 20 districts including the capital Lucknow, Allahabad. Because till May 30, there are more than 600 active cases here. These districts will remain strictly as before. Which was getting discounts earlier. The same discount will be available now.
25 guests in marriage, 20 people allowed in the funeral procession
The Yogi government may have removed the lockdown in 55 districts]but directed to strictly follow the Kovid protocol. Under this, a maximum of 25 people will be able to gather at a time for wedding ceremonies and other events. They would have to follow the rescue arrangements like a two-yard, sanitizer. At the same time, a maximum of 20 people will be able to participate in the corpse.
In these 55 districts, the government has given permission to open all the shrines except the Containment Zone. However, only 5 people will gather at a time. The new guidelines will come into effect from 1 June.

There are currently no exemptions in Lucknow, Meerut, Saharanpur, Varanasi, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Muzaffarnagar, Bareilly, Gautam Budh Nagar, Bulandshahr, Jhansi, Prayagraj, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sonbhadra, Jaunpur, Baghpat, Moradabad, Ghazipur, Bijnor and Deoria.
Frequently extended lockdown
08 April: Night curfew in districts where there are more than 500 active cases
17 April : Sunday lockdown was imposed in the entire state.
20 April : Saturday-Sunday Weekend Lockdown Announced
30 April : Weekend Lockdown, extended one day first and then extended till May 6.
May 05: The lockdown was extended to 10 May.
09 May: The lockdown was extended to 17 May.
15 May: The lockdown was extended to 24 May.
May 24: The lockdown was extended to 31 May.
May 30: The lockdown extended to June 7 in 20 districts.
1908 new infected found in 24 hours
On Saturday, 1,908 patients have been found in 24 hours in the state. This number is just 5 percent of the 38,055 patients who came on April 24. While 6,713 people have been cured in the last 24 hours. So far, a total of 16 lakh 28 thousand people have been cured of Corona. There are currently 41,214 corona cases active. The recovery rate is 96.4%.
