The death of Sushant Singh Rajput is going to be one year on 14 June. Meanwhile, last week, NCB has sent summons to his house help Keshav and cook Neeraj, after the late actor’s roommate Siddharth Pithani. NCB will interrogate them again in connection with the drug case and Sushant’s death. Both were allegedly fleeing NCB’s Mumbai unit for 8 months and were based outside Mumbai.
According to reports, both Keshav and Neeraj returned to Mumbai in August to work in different Bollywood celebrities’ homes.
Siddharth’s custody till 1 June
Mumbai Zonal Unit Head of Narcotics Control Bureau, Sameer Wankhede, elaborated after Siddharth was arrested from Hyderabad. Siddharth was arrested by the NCB with the help of a sub-zonal team in Hyderabad two days ago and was brought to Mumbai on transit remand, after which he was produced in the ACM court. Sameer told that Siddharth was intercepted two days ago in connection with ‘Crime Number 7’. He has got custody of Siddharth till June 1.
Charge sheet of 12 thousand pages 200 statements of witnesses
The Narcotics Control Bureau filed a charge sheet before a special court in Mumbai on 5 March in its Drugs Angle case involving the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput on 14 June last year. The 12,000-page chargesheet named 33 accused, including actress and Sushant’s alleged girlfriend Riya Chakraborty and her brother Shovik. These documents contain statements of more than 200 witnesses.
