Top board officials may reach UAE soon
Ganguly, Shah and Rajiv have reached the UAE to resolve these cases. Along with this, the ICC meeting is also to be held on 1 June. There will also be talks about the T20 World Cup. Rajiv Shukla told the local media Khaleej Times that it is entirely up to the UAE government and the ECB to decide whether they want to give an entry to the audience. Around 700-800 people will be vaccinated for IPL in UAE
The BCCI may also have a meeting with the Emirates Cricket Board soon. There may also be a discussion about getting the vaccine to all the players and staff of the IPL. Indian players going on the England tour have already received their first dose of the Corona vaccine. This means that the board will have to vaccinate around 700–800 people.
70% of people in the UAE have already been vaccinated
Rajiv Shukla said that preparations for vaccination have to start from now. This is because according to the ICMR rule, the second dose takes 2-3 months. 70% of UAE people have been vaccinated. At the same time, he has also banned people without vaccination from entering their country.
Will follow all the protocols of the UAE government
Rajeev Shukla said – Whatever protocol has to be followed, whether it is Indian or UAE, we will follow it. Apart from this, the board can also negotiate dates with the ECB. According to Rajiv Shukla, the board is looking to start the tournament from September 18-19, ie, 4-5 days after India’s Test series against England. However, a final decision on this will be taken after the meeting with the ECB. Shukla said that we want to finish the tournament as successfully as last season.
