The stock market opened higher on the first trading day of this week. Today the Sensex opened 53.34 points and the Nifty 2.1 points up. However, the market declined in the first minute of trading. In early trading, the Sensex plummeted to 190 points. However, now the market has recovered. On the other hand, PNB Housing Finance Limited shares are up 20% and Redington India Limited shares are up over 18%.
Earlier on Friday, the markets closed with a gain. The Sensex was up 307.66 points to end at 51,422.88. Similarly, the Nifty closed at 15,435.65 with a gain of 97.80 points.
Japan and Korea markets fall
US market closed with gains
On Friday, the US markets closed with gains. The Dow Jones gained 0.19% to close 64.81 points at 34,529.40. The Nasdaq closed down 12.46 points at 13,748.70, down 0.09%. The S&P 500 index was up 3.34 points at 4,204.22. The markets of France and Germany also closed with gains.
