A special vaccination drive was run for the boatmen in Dal Lake on Saturday in Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The team injected the corona vaccine to the shikara runners in their boat.
The 134 days since vaccination started in the country have been completed. The Union Health Ministry said on Saturday that so far the number of doses of corona vaccine has been crossed 21 million. During this period, 14.15 lakh people between 18 and 44 years of age were first vaccinated and 9,075 were vaccinated. Since the beginning of the third phase of vaccination, 1.82 crore people have been given the first dose across the country.
Maharashtra is the only state in the country where more than 2 crore (2.20) crore vaccines have been administered. Apart from this, there are more than one crore vaccines in Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar.

The Health Ministry said that Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh have given the first vaccine to more than one million people between the ages of 18 and 44. According to the report received till 7 pm, a total of 21.18 crore doses have been applied so far. These include 98.61 lakh health care workers who have been vaccinated. 67.71 lakh have received the second vaccine.
Adequate social distance arrangements were made for people who came to get vaccinated at a school in Kanyakumari.
The first 15.55 million frontline workers and 84.87 lakh have both been vaccinated. Of these, 18–44 years ago, 1.18 crores of Aggroup and the first dose is 9,373. A total of 28.09 lakh vaccinations were made till 7 pm on the 134th day. Of these, 25.11 lakh people got their first vaccine and 2.98 lakh got second vaccine.
Drive-in vaccination centers have been set up in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Health care workers were vaccinated by two elderly people who arrived here.

States have more than 1.82 crore doses
The Union Health Ministry said that more than 1.82 crore doses are available with the states and union territories. More than 4 lakh doses will be received in the next three days. So far, more than 22.77 crore doses have been given to the states and union territories by the central government. On the other hand, the Punjab government said on Saturday that more than 50 lakh doses of corona vaccine have been applied in the state so far.
