The CBSE and CISCE boards are considering several options regarding the postponement of 12th board examination in view of the situation caused by Corona in the country. This includes canceling examinations and adopting an alternative evaluation method or conducting examinations in a shorter format. In fact, most of the states have agreed to the option of conducting short duration exams for major subjects in August.

Judgment will be decided on exam on 1 June

However, according to information received by the Ministry of Education, nothing has been decided yet regarding the examination. A final decision will be taken in this regard by June 01. Regarding the examination, the minister has already said that the safety of students is a priority, but examinations are also necessary. In such a situation, it can be decided after reviewing the situation.

CISCE board asks students for schools 11th marks

Meanwhile, the CISCE board has asked all its affiliated schools for marks in 11th and final examinations for students studying in class 12th and 12th examinations this year. However, the board has not clarified whether the exam is likely to be canceled or not. The board has given time to the schools to complete the submission of marks by June 7.

Tomorrow will be heard on the 12th exam

Earlier, during the hearing of the CBSE and CISCE Board for the Class 12 examination in the Supreme Court on Friday, the court postponed the matter till May 31. Hearing the petition filed by Advocate Mamta Sharma, the court directed the petitioner to make a copy of the petition available to the Center, CBSE and CISCE. Now the matter will be heard tomorrow i.e. on Monday.
