UP on alert on increasing cases of corona, new guidelines may be issued

Lucknow: Seeing increasing cases of corona virus in states like Maharashtra, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Haryana and Kerala, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked the officials to be on alert. Also, UP will soon issue guidelines for people coming from these states. Under this guidelines, passengers coming from the Red Zone can be asked to conduct mandatory tests and stay quarantined.

Health Secretary General Dr. D.S. Negi has said, “By the way there has been a decline in the cases of corona virus in Uttar Pradesh. In cases of Kovid, there has also been a decline in Uttar Pradesh and the situation is being monitored in all the districts. Border districts especially monitored Is going and contact tracing is also being done. The state government is testing more than 1.25 lakh samples daily. “

Officers were asked to be vigilant

Official sources have revealed that the Chief Minister has instructed all the concerned officials to keep a close watch on Kovid and continue the testing, tracking and treatment aggressively.

At the same time, the government spokesman said that due to festivals like Shivaratri and Holi, the officials have been asked to be vigilant. “People have been told to strictly follow safety protocols like social distancing, wearing masks and washing hands,” he said.
