Twitter has started testing the voice message feature for direct messages (DMs) in India. With the help of this feature, users will be able to send 140 seconds of voice message. Testing of this feature is going on in Brazil and Japan along with India. The company said that the facility of voice messages in DMs will make it easier for users to communicate.

Managing Director of Twitter India, Manish Maheshwari said, “We are very excited about testing the voice message feature in DMs in India. With this feature, people will get a new interaction experience. They will be able to hear each other’s voice. And will also be able to express their feelings. Each voice message in this feature will be 140 seconds. This will enable people to chat faster. “

How to use voice message feature in DMs

  • The user must first go to direct messages (DMs).
  • Now tap the new voice recording icon to send a voice message.
  • Start recording in your voice now. After the talk is complete, tab to the stop message.
  • Note that there will be no voice recording after 140 seconds.
  • Before sending the voice message, you will also get the option to listen to it.
  • If you do not like the voice message, then you can delete it.

Instagram also launches direct messages (DMs)
In October last year, Facebook linked Instagram Direct Messages (DMs) to the Facebook Messenger platform. With its help, users who use the Messenger app can talk to Facebook friends through Instagram without any hassle and without downloading a new app. Users of similar Instagram direct messages can also message with Facebook Messenger.
