On the second anniversary of the Pulwama attack, the security forces foiled a major plot of terror attack. Security forces recovered 7 kg Improvised Explosive Device (IED) from Jammu bus stand. Security forces have started a search operation in the entire bus stand. According to officials, the terrorists were preparing to carry out a major incident on the second anniversary of Pulwama.

IG will hold press conference in the evening
The Jammu Police has called a press conference at the police line at 4.30 pm. In this, IG Mukesh Singh of Jammu will give information. In the press conference, the police can reveal the explosives found from the bus stand and the conspiracy of the terrorists.


Two terrorists were arrested last week
The resident Front (TRF) militant Zahoor Ahmad Rathed was arrested on Saturday, 13 February from Samba. Rathde was wanted in Kashmir for the murder of three BJP workers last year. On 6 February, Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Hidayatullah Malik alias Hasnain was arrested from Kunjwani in Jammu.

On this day itself, two years ago there was an attack in Pulwama
On 14 February 2019, a convoy of CRPF personnel was attacked by terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammad in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. A bus was blown up in it. 40 CRPF personnel were killed in the attack. The attack was carried out by Jaish in collaboration with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. The NIA had accused 19 people of plotting this attack, out of which 6 were killed in an encounter by the army.

Balakot Airstrike was carried out by the Air Force in response to the attack
Within 12 days of the Pulwama attack, the Indian Air Force avenged the martyred soldiers. The Air Force had destroyed several terrorist targets in Balakot through airstrikes. It is claimed that more than 300 terrorists were killed in this action.
