Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir foiled a major terror plot on Monday. The IED was found near the railway crossing at Naugam here. After an hour’s effort, the security forces neutralized it. After 11 months, trains were scheduled to run again on this railway route from today itself. It is said that the terrorists had planted the IED plant here with the planning of the big blast. Just next to the railway crossing is the Srinagar-Baramulla National Highway. Traffic on the highway was completely halted as soon as the IED was found, later restored.

Alert all over Jammu and Kashmir
Kashmir Zone IG Vijay Kumar on Sunday issued an alert regarding major terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir. Security has been asked to increase security at all important places. He said that snipers have been deployed on all tall buildings in Kashmir. Permanent bunkers are also being replaced. Apart from this, anti-terrorist operations will be intensified throughout the valley so that terrorists can be caught in time.

Weapons found from the forests of Anantnag
On Sunday, the police and army revealed the terrorist’s hideout in Anantnag forest. In the joint operation, the security forces recovered three AK-56 rifles, two Chinese pistols, two Chinese grenades, one telescope, six AK magazines and many other items from the forest of Anantnag.

Police party was attacked three days ago
Three days earlier, militants attacked the police party in Bagat Barjulla area of ​​Srinagar. The terrorist openly fired AK-47 and fired bullets at the security forces. Two policemen were killed in this firing.
