The girls went to the farm in the afternoon to get fodder. Not returning till evening, the family started searching. All three were found tied with scarf in the field. His age was 13, 16 and 17 years.

Dalit girls died in suspicious circumstances in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. There is anger among the family and villagers from this incident. The family has expressed apprehension of vandalism and untoward incident with these girls. Police said the bodies have been sent for postmortem. At first glance, it seems to be a case of poisoning.

SP Anand Kulkarni of Unnao said that 3 girls were found unconscious in a field in Baburaha village. A lot of froth was seen on the spot. Poisoning angle has also come up in the medical examination. Kulkarni said that the body has been sent for post-mortem and the matter will be investigated from every angle.

Condition of third girl too serious, referred to Kanpur

Family members said that these three girls of a Dalit family of Baburaha village had gone to the fields at 3 pm to get fodder. When the girls did not return until the evening, the family began an investigation. The family was tied to the same dupatta in all three farms and was in a state of unconsciousness. 2 were declared dead on arrival at the hospital. The third girl has been referred to Kanpur, but her condition is said to be very serious. The three girls were aged 13, 16 and 17 years.

Police force deployed in the village, SP accused of suppressing the case

DM, SP and other officials have reached Baburaha village after the incident. In view of the anger of the villagers, a heavy police force has been deployed. The family has expressed apprehension of untoward and vandalism. The girls’ brother said that the family had no enmity with anyone. All of them used to go to school earlier, but later the school was rescued.

SP leader Sunil Sajan has accused the police of suppressing the case. He said that the way the police is handling the case, it is clear that she wants to hide the reality. It is clear from this incident that Dalit daughters are not safe in Uttar Pradesh.
