This year Indian companies can increase employee salaries by an average of 7.7%. However, the salaries of good people can increase by 60%. Global professional services firm Aon said this in a survey related to salary growth. In 2020 also Indian companies increased their salary by 6.4% on average.

More growth in India than China and America
According to this report, the average salary of employees in large countries like Japan, USA, China, Singapore, Germany and UK is expected to increase from 3.1 to 5.5%. Which is less than in India.

E-commerce and venture capital firms may increase more salary
Now, sector wise, e-commerce and venture capital firms will increase their employee salaries by up to 10.10%. This is followed by tech companies with an average of 9.7%, IT companies with 8.8%, and entertainment and gaming companies with 8.1%. Chemical and pharma companies will also give 8% growth to their employees.


The report said that the professional services sector can increase 7.9% in the financial services sector and 6.5% in the salary of its employees this year. Data from about 1,200 corporate houses have been collected for this survey.

Salary will increase the least in these sectors
According to the survey, sectors like hospitability, infrastructure, retail and engineering services have been the most affected by Corona. In these sectors, the average salary can increase from 5.5 to 5.8%.

Country emerging from corona
Survey report shows that 93.5% of institutions expect good business in 2021. With this, they will be able to increase the salary of their employees. At the same time, 6.5% feel that their business is not going to perform well this year and it will be a challenge to retain them by increasing the average salary of the employees. 60% of the institutes believe that their condition is getting better and this year they can increase the salary of their employees by 9.1%. The survey report also said that employment will increase this year.
