Sainik School will open in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. For this, the government has made a provision of Rs 90 crore in its budget on Monday. Apart from this, an auditorium with a capacity of one thousand people will be constructed in the martyr Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey Sainik School, located in Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow. A provision of Rs 15 crore has been made for this. The Yogi government is also preparing to double the capacity of the school.
The Finance Minister said in the House that the Yogi Government of the state is working with commitment to provide them cheap and quality education with discipline to the youth. Recently, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sent a proposal to the Ministry of Defense to open a military school in every division of the state.
Hostel will be made of 150 beds
The state government will construct a hostel of 150 capacity for girl cadets. Besides, an auditorium of one thousand capacity will be constructed. A provision of Rs 15 crore budget has been made for this. At the same time, a budget provision of Rs 200 crore has also been made for the development of infrastructure facilities in aided private secondary schools. Government will spend large part of budget on education
In the budget for the year 2021-2022, a budgetary provision of Rs 18,172 crore has been made for the overall education campaign. A provision of Rs 40 crore has been made to provide free uniforms to all children of classes 1 to 8 every year. At the same time, a provision of Rs 300 crore has been made for the financial year 2021-2022 to provide shoes-socks and sweaters to all children. At the same time, a provision of Rs 110 crore is proposed in the budget for the financial year 2021-2022 for providing school bags to students from class 1 to class 8. A budget of Rs 3,406 crore has been proposed for the mid-day meal program.
