Shantanu was told that the action was taking place in retaliation. At the same time, a Delhi court has allowed Activist Disha to take warm clothes, masks and books. Also, Disha has been allowed to talk to her family.
Disha will also be able to see a copy of the FIR and other documents related to the arrest. Delhi Women Commission has given notice to the police on Disha’s arrest. At the same time, the remand court of Sidhu has been extended for seven days. According to the Delhi Police, activist Disha got WhatsApp a message to Greta Thenberg – Don’t share the toolkit, it has all the names.
We may face a UAPA case. Police claim that a WhatsApp group was formed on December 6, involving 10 members. Later, Disha deleted all the numbers from her phone. Nikita from Mumbai is also an accused in the case. She said that she was involved in the zoom meeting. Police has sought information from the zoom app. Nikita has filed bail in the Bombay High Court, a decision on this will be made on Wednesday. We are being retaliated, this is a toolkit for the destruction of democracy: Shantanu
The bail petition of Shantanu Muluk, accused in the Toolkit case, was heard in the Bombay High Court. Read courtroom live
Advocates of Muluk: Charges have been made under section 153A (promoting enmity) of IPC. Legal provisions have been grossly misused to subdue dissent. There was no hostility towards his or colleagues’ intentions regarding the opposition of the peasants. Therefore transit bells should be given.
Delhi Police: Transit Bell cannot be granted to the accused under IPC.
Judge: All you have to prove is why the transit cannot bail.
Muluk: We were just supporting the farmers fighting for their livelihood. But we are being retaliated. Vengeance is the black face of authoritarianism. It is a toolkit not only for the destruction of democracy but also for basic human rights. The blot of being anti-national will be disastrous for my life and family. After this, the court granted bail. Explain, the police allege that Disha, Nikita and Shantanu attended a zoom meeting of Khalistan supporters 15 days before the Delhi violence.
The aim of the toolkit was to present a picture of farmer demonstrations internationally, not to spread violence
Nikita’s lawyer has produced some documents related to the case before the Mumbai police. Among them, Nikita said, ‘The toolkit was created by the Indian volunteers of the Extraction Rebellion NGO (XR). The aim was to present a complete picture of the peasant performance at the international level.
Nikita said, ‘I have not shared any information with Sweden’s climate activist Greta Thunberg. This toolkit was a document informational pack and was not intended to incite violence. I also had no political, religious or economic agenda behind it. Nikita has said in the petition that the FIR lodged is baseless.

Judge Dharmendra Rana said this while granting bail to the two accused associated with the peasant movement. They are accused of posting fake videos on Facebook. The accused were arrested this month. The court said that the use of section 124A (sedition) is a matter of serious debate. He said, “The investigating officer himself has told that the accused have not made that shared video.”
