These days a message is becoming quite viral on social media. In this message, it is being claimed that the government has finished the 10th board examination under the new education policy. After which, now the board examination will have to be taken only in the 12th standard. However, refuting this fact, PIB Fact Check, the Government of India’s Fact Check Organization, has called this message a fake.
A message has claimed that as per the new education policy, there will be only board exams in class 12 and there will be no provision for board exams in class 10.#PIBFactCheck: This claim #fake is. @EduMinOfIndia Has not issued any such order.

New education policy received after 43 years
The central government approved the country’s new education policy on 29 July 2020. This is the first education policy of the 21st century, which will replace the 34-year-old National Education Policy, 1986. Under this, now students will be able to take the examinations twice a year. The new education policy has made the 10th and 12th board exam easier. With this, all students will now be able to give board exam twice a year. Not only this, under this new policy, up to 5th and as far as possible 8th will be taught in mother tongue only.
