Nikita is accused of deliberately sharing the toolkit on her social media account at the behest of the arrested direction in the case.

The Bombay High Court has granted interim bail of 3 weeks to Nikita Jacob, accused in the Greta Thunberg toolkit case. During the hearing, Justice PD Naik said that in these three weeks she can go to Delhi court regarding the case registered against her. A non-bailable warrant was issued by the Delhi Police declaring Nikita as an absconder. Subsequently, lawyer Nikita Jacob filed a petition in the Bombay High Court for cancellation of the non-bailable warrant and interim bail. If Nikita is arrested in this case, she will be released on a personal bond of 25 Jar rupees and the same bail amount.

Nikita is close to 22-year-old activist Disha Ravi of Bengaluru, arrested in the Jacob Toolkit case. A Delhi Police team has been in Mumbai for several days to nab Nikita and they have searched Nikita’s house and relatives. The Delhi Police team has also interrogated Nikita once in this case, but after calling the questioning the next day, she did not appear before him again.

Nikita deleted her Twitter account when the toolkit case was disputed. It is being claimed that he then introduced himself in his profile to be associated with the Bombay High Court lawyer, environmentalist and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). However, in the new profile, he has removed his connection with the Aam Aadmi Party. Twitter user Vijay Patel has claimed that Nikita prepared a document called Solidarity with Indian Farmers on January 30, 2021. It is claimed that he has also maintained an account on Instagram called News Infuse.

Nikita is accused

Nikita is accused of sharing the toolkit on her social media account after being asked the arrested direction in the case. After arresting Disha, he has been sent to a 5-day custody on a Delhi court order. Sweden’s activist Greta tweeted in support of the peasant movement and shared this toolkit. If the Indian government objected to this, Twitter deleted the tweets. After this Delhi Police registered a case against unknown people.

Disha shared the toolkit with Greta

Delhi Police arrested the direction on Sunday i.e. 14 February. Disha is also a climate activist. According to Delhi Police, Disha, who was involved in starting the Friday for Future campaign, circulated the toolkit by creating a Google Dock. For this, he formed a WhatsApp group.
