However, infection is spreading rapidly in total six states. There have been 10,584 new cases in the last 24 hours across the country, which shows that this infection has regained its momentum.
On Monday, the number of active cases of corona across the country stood at 1,47,306, which is a matter of concern. In the last 24 hours, 13 states and union territories have been identified where more new corona patients have been identified than recovery. In these, the second wave of Corona has knocked in 4 states and union territories. This includes Maharashtra, Punjab, Jammu Kashmir and Chandigarh.
In Maharashtra, the situation is becoming most uncontrollable and in view of this, all political, religious and social ceremonies have been banned there. Active cases have been increasing in the state for the last 10 days. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had to warn that if people do not strictly follow the COVID guide line, then there may be a possibility of a lockdown in the state again.
On the other hand, the number of active cases has been increasing continuously in Punjab for the last 12 days, in Chandigarh for 10 days and in Jammu and Kashmir since last one week. Things are now under control in Kerala. There has been a decrease in the number of 2841 active patients on Monday.
According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, there have been 10,584 new cases of corona in the country. The total corona cases in the country have reached 1,10,16,434. The Health Ministry released the death toll of 78 patients. A total of 1,56,463 people have died in the country so far.
So far 1,11,16,854 people have been vaccinated under the Corona Vaccination Program in India. Corona’s active cases have reached 1,47,306 in the country. Which was one lakh 36 thousand on 16 February. For five consecutive days, the number of new cases of corona virus in the country remains more than 10,000.
The Union Health Ministry informed that in Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh, new cases of Kovid-19 have increased rapidly. 86.69 percent new cases have been reported from these 6 states. Of which 75.87 percent are active cases in Maharashtra and Kerala.
The risk of corona infection is highest in Mumbai and that is why BMC has taken a big step. The Municipal Corporation has sealed 1305 buildings. There are 71,838 families living in these buildings.
BMC has taken this decision after 2749 cases in Mumbai. Three days ago, a new guideline was released for Mumbai. It was said that if five or more corona cases are found in a building, then the entire building will be sealed. So far 1,10,85,173 people have been vaccinated under the Corona Vaccination Program in India.
