Colleges, universities and other educational institutions which have been closed in Uttar Pradesh for the past several months will be reopened from February 15. Following the Corona Guidelines issued by the Central and State Government, all colleges, universities and other educational institutions will be opened with full capacity from Monday. Earlier, higher education institutes were opened on November 23, 2020 with some restrictions, but from Monday they will be opened with full strength in a regular manner.
Social distancing has to be followed
All teachers and students coming to the campus will be required to wear face masks. Also, everyone has to keep a distance of 6 feet between themselves following social distancing. Sanitization and thermal scanning will be provided at all institutes. According to the guidelines issued by the education department, if a student, teacher or staff member has symptoms of cough, cold or fever, they will be sent back home after giving first aid. The result will be recorded immediately after the corona is diagnosed.
Schools open from 6th to 8th
Earlier, the state government has reopened the school for students from class 6th to 8th from February 10, 2021. The UP government has issued SOP to ensure the health and safety of students, teachers and other non-teaching staff. Schools in classes 1 to 5 in the state will be re-opened from March 01, 2021.
