If you use the audio chat app Clubhouse, then an alert needs to be kept. Researchers at Stanford University, USA have reported that it is passing your data over to the Chinese government. The Stanford Internet Observatory (SIO) has confirmed this. He explained that Agora, a Shanghai real-time engagement software provider company, supplies the clubhouse app as a back-end infrastructure.
Plan to create a separate data security firm
Clubhouse reported that it is making changes to encryption and pinging of its clients to Chinese servers. There are plans to legalize these changes and appoint a separate data security firm to review it. Launched in March 2020, this clubhouse app was well received worldwide. However, a few days ago there were reports of China banning it.
Anel Musk and Vlad Tanev promoted
The clubhouse was launched in March 2020. The app had around 1,500 users in May 2020. Its value then was $ 100 million (about Rs 729 crore). As of February 2021, the clubhouse has over 2 million (2 million) users. At the same time, its value has been 1 billion dollars (about 7282 crores). That is, the value of the company has increased by about Rs 6553 crore during one year. Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev have a big hand in increasing users.
