Corona cases less than 15 thousand in the country for the second consecutive day, 13.90 lakh people have been vaccinated so far

In the last 24 hours, 14,256 new corona cases have come to the fore and 152 people have lost their lives due to infection. According to the latest data from the Health Ministry, 17,130 people have been discharged from the hospital in 24 hours. With this, the total corona cases in the country increased to one crore 6 lakh 39 thousand 684.

According to the Health Ministry, so far one lakh 53 thousand 184 people have lost their lives. Total active cases reduced to 1 lakh 85 thousand. So far, a total of one crore 3 lakh people have been cured by beating Corona. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 19.95 million corona sample tests were conducted for the corona virus till January 22, of which 8.37 lakh samples were tested yesterday.

Corona virus recovery rate in all states and union territories is more than 90 percent. It is a matter of relief that a steady decline in mortality and active case rate is being recorded. The death rate of corona in the country is 1.44 percent while the recovery rate is around 97 percent. The active case is less than 2 percent.


3.47 lakh people vaccinated on 7th day of vaccination campaign
In India, 3.47 lakh health workers and frontline workers were vaccinated on Friday, taking the total number of vaccinations to 13,90,592. A total of 267 cases of side effects were reported from the vaccination till 6 pm on the seventh day of the vaccination campaign. This vaccination campaign started on 16 January.

The total beneficiaries who have been vaccinated till 6 pm on Friday evening since the vaccination campaign started were 1,27,726 in Andhra Pradesh, 63,620 in Bihar, 1,82,503 in Kerala, 1,82,503 in Karnataka, 38,278 in Madhya Pradesh, 46,825 in Tamil Nadu, There are 18,844 people in Delhi, 42,395 in Gujarat and 80,542 in West Bengal.
