Supernovas captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored 31 off 29 balls against the Trailblazers in the Women’s T20 Challenge.
Supernovas defeated the Trailblazers by 2 runs in the Women’s T20 Challenge ie Women’s IPL. The final is between the two teams on 9 November. Supernova’s captain Harmanpreet Kaur said after the victory that the bowlers were successful in putting pressure on the batsmen of the opposition team. Due to which the team won.
Kaur told the broadcaster Star, “When you play, you want to win every match. This match was very close. Our bowlers bowled better and they managed to put pressure on the batsmen. When we started the innings, we wanted to score at least 160 runs. But could not do so. We knew that later the ball would turn and our spinners would benefit from it.
He explained the reasons for not bowling despite Poonam Yadav remaining three overs and said that both the batsmen were left-handed. In such a situation, bowling with an off spinner was not right.
Attapattu put a fifty
Earlier, Supernovas scored 146 for 6 wickets in 20 overs. It is the highest score made by any team in the tournament. Earlier last year, Supernova scored 142 for 3 against Velocity.
