The schedule for the finals series of the 6th edition of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) has been released. The teams of Melbourne Stars, Brisbane Heat, Sydney Thunder and Perth Scorchers will be seen playing in prime time. The semi-finals of the tournament will be played on 25 and 26 November. The final between the winners of both matches will be on 28 November. All matches will take place at the North Sydney Oval.
First semi-final between Melbourne Stars and Perth Scorchers
Meg Lanning, who topped the WBBL points table, will face Melbourne Stars against Perth Scorches of Sophie Devine in the first semi-final on Wednesday. At the same time, the second semi-final match between Brisbane Heat and Sydney Thunder will be played on Thursday.

Big Bash League head Alastair Dobson said that WBBL’s decision to hold the finals series in prime time would help promote women’s cricket. He said that the club and the New South Wales government had contributed significantly to the successful organization of the league.
