PM speaks at 51st convocation of IIT Delhi: For the first time in the space sector, private investment avenues open, urging students to work on ‘Ease of Living’ for countrymen

Addressing the 51st convocation of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that today India is committed to giving its youth ‘Ease of Doing Business’, so that these young people can live with the lives of crores of citizens by their innovation To change. During this, PM Modi said that for the first time so much potential has been created for innovation and new startups in the agriculture sector. Not only this, for the first time, private investment avenues have also opened in the space sector.

He said that today the country is working in new ways to achieve maximum potential of every field. The PM said that such provisions which prevented the tech industry from facilities like Work from Home or Work from Anywhere, have also been removed. He said that Kovid-19 has taught the world one more thing that globalization is necessary, but at the same time self-sufficiency is equally important.

PM Modi gave success spells to students

Addressing the 51st convocation ceremony of IIT Delhi, Prime Minister Modi gave the students the mantra of life and said that when you go from here, work in a new place, then you also have to work with a new mantra. This mantra is:

  • Focus on quality; Never compromise.
  • Ensure scalability; Allow your innovations to work on a larger scale.
  • Ensure reliability; Log-term trust build in the market
  • Bring in adaptability; Be ready for uncertainty and change in life

PM Modi tweeted

The program, which started at 9 am, also included Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, and Minister of State for Education Sanjay Dhotre. On this, PM Modi wrote on Twitter, “Tomorrow I will address the annual convocation of IIT Delhi at 11 am. On this occasion, I congratulate all the graduate students, their parents, teachers as well as the support staff. India is proud of the rich contribution of our nation to IIT Delhi.

298 students got PhD

Convocation ceremonies are being organized by the institute in a hybrid mode at Dogra Hall of the institute. Apart from this, graduate students, their parents, former students, invited guests and others were added through online webcasts. Out of the total number of students of 2019 batch who got degrees from IIT-Delhi, 1146 students got post-graduate degrees, while 298 students were given PhD degrees.
