However, there is no restriction on visas that have been issued earlier.

Pakistan Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafiz Chowdhury has said that the UAE has temporarily suspended the issuance of new travel visas for 12 countries, including Pakistan, until further announcement. Apart from Pakistan, the UAE government has also traveled to Turkey, Iran, Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Somalia, Libya, Kenya, and others in Afghanistan. Visa issuance is suspended.
