Meerut: Principal Secretary Medical Health Alok Kumar, who heads the special team of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in a special conversation with ABP Ganga explained why the death toll of corona patients in Meerut is increasing and what steps will be taken to prevent it.
Cases are increasing due to Delhi
In a special conversation with ABP Ganga, Principal Secretary Health reached Meerut said that more people are coming from Delhi to Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, hence the graph of Corona is increasing in Delhi-NCR. He said that apart from Meerut, cases have also increased in Ghaziabad and Noida.
Must pass a random rapid test
Principal Secretary Health Alok Kumar said that due to increase in corona cases in Delhi, corona cases have increased in NCR so now people coming from Delhi will have random rapid test. He said that in view of the increasing cases of corona, whether one comes by bus, by train or by air, he has to undergo a random rapid test. Principal Secretary Health says that because the NCR region is with Delhi, if the cases increase in Delhi, then it will affect Meerut, Ghaziabad and Noida.
Meerut has higher death rate
Principal Secretary Health also inspected the Medical College Integrated Kovid Command Center. He said that the constant deaths due to corona in Meerut are a matter of concern. Alok Kumar said that a strategy has been made to prevent the death toll from rising in Meerut. Meerut has a higher death rate than the state average.
