As per the admission process released at Delhi University, today, on Saturday, 7 November, the last cutoff will be released for admission in various courses of UG for the academic year 2020-21. DU fifth cut-off list will be issued separately from each college. Apart from this, a separate Combined Cutoff List for admission in Science, Arts and Commerce program will be released on DU’s official portal du.ac.in.
Admission will be till 9 November
This year, in view of the situation caused by the corona epidemic, the university is conducting the admission process online, under which students can take admission from 9 November. Students who have enrolled themselves in the first, second, third and fourth cutoff lists in any DU college will have the option of changing colleges or courses after their fifth cutoff list is released. After the release of the fifth cutoff list, students can change the college and course according to their choice.
Admission will be done on 70,000 seats
This year, a total of 70,000 seats have been decided for admission to various UG programs in DU. In the media report, a DU official said that more than 55,000 seats have already been filled under the first, second and third cut-off list, although the number reached 45,542 after the students withdrew their admission. At the same time, after the fourth cut-off list released last week, admissions for many courses were closed for various categories. Whereas in the cut-off of some courses, only one to two percent has been recorded.
