The Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police has registered a case of fraud against two companies, including Nayati Healthcare. The chairperson and promoter of Nayati Healthcare is Neera Radia. Neera has been in the news for the 2G case and the controversial tape case. According to the information, EOW has filed a case against another company Narayani Investments Private Limited. The two companies have been charged with misappropriation of funds in excess of Rs 300 crore. This amount was obtained through a loan.
Forgery between 2018-2020
According to sources associated with the EOW, Nayati and Narayani have been charged with embezzlement and forgery of Rs 312.50 crore between 2018-2020 in the Primaid Hospital projects of Gurugram and Vimhans Hospital Delhi. This complaint was made by orthopedic surgeon Rajiv K. of Delhi. Sharma had filed. According to sources, the two firms embezzled crores by opening fake accounts and transferring loans directly to these accounts in the names of various well-known contractors. Sharma, in his complaint, alleged that loans and equity money of over Rs 400 crore have been withdrawn, while the condition of the Gurugram hospital building has become ‘worse than ever’.
Nayati Healthcare denied the allegations
After the case was filed, Nayati Healthcare has issued a statement denying the allegations. Nayati Healthcare states that being a board member, Dr. Sharma was a party and signatory (signatory) to all the affairs of the company. During the forensic audit, there were some issues of misuse in the management supervised by Dr. Sharma. These issues were raised with Dr. Sharma. Also, a report was lodged with the police regarding the misuse. Since then there has been a difference of opinion with Dr. Sharma. Police is investigating the case.
Narayana Investment bought OSL Healthcare by Dr. Sharma
Dr. Sharma’s facility at OSL Healthcare’s Hospital in South Delhi and Gurugram was purchased by Narayani Investment Private Limited. It was later renamed Nayati Healthcare NCR. According to the FIR filed on November 4, Dr. Sharma has accused Narayani Investment Private Limited, Neera Radia, Karuna Menon, Satish Narula and Yatish Wahal among others, including fraud, fraud in accounts, rigging of accounts, fraud, embezzlement of money. .
