new Delhi: Authorities in the South Delhi district on Sunday ordered the closure of two markets in the evening at Nangloi for violation of rules related to prevention of Kovid-19 like social distancing and wearing of masks. A senior official said that the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) in West Delhi on Sunday issued an order directing the closure of Punjabi Basti Bazaar and Janta Market by 30 November.
“Despite repeated instructions and warnings from the authorities, both the market and street vendors in moths are wearing masks, maintaining physical distance and other measures to protect Kovid-19,” the official said. The instructions issued were being violated.

The administrative officers of the district along with police and North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) teams closed the markets. Around 200 shopkeepers in the evening market place many shops of daily useful items.
Corona update in Delhi
In the last 24 hours, 6746 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the national capital Delhi and 121 more patients have died. After treatment with it, 6154 patients have also recovered. Corona cases have increased to 5 lakh 29 thousand 863 in the state after the arrival of new cases. At the same time, 4 lakh 81 thousand 260 people have been cured after treatment. The number of active cases in Delhi is 40 thousand 212 and so far 8391 people have died due to this virus.
