Through the Kovin app, people will be able to know the schedule of their vaccination, location and even the details of who will put the vaccine. Once the vaccine dose is in place, the app will also get a certificate. It can also be saved in DigiLocker.
Cowin app will have frontline workers and patients data
The app will contain data of frontline workers, people above 50 years of age and people suffering from serious illnesses. At the district level, there will also be data of those working in government and private hospitals. They will get the first vaccine dose after approval.
Booths like polio campaign will be built in schools, panchayati buildings and anganwadi centers
Vaccine storage is already available
In fact, some vaccine storage chains are already available in the country for vaccination campaigns for children in India, but they will not work to store Moderna and Pfizer vaccines. Covaxins made in Oxford and India can be stored at normal refrigerator temperatures. Therefore, the government hopes on it.
