For a long time, complaining of asthma, doctors had advised Sonia Gandhi to move out of Delhi.

Due to increasing pollution in Delhi, Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi has shifted to Goa for a few days. He has taken this decision on the advice of doctors. They will remain there until the situation becomes normal. Rahul Gandhi is also present with him.

Actually, Sonia Gandhi has had asthma for a long time. In such a situation, doctors advised him to move out of Delhi. Sonia accompanied Rahul Gandhi to Goa on Friday on the advice of doctors due to increasing pollution and winter weather. How long they will stay there is not clear yet.

Admitted before

Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Gangaram Hospital in Delhi on 30 July. Then the chairman of the hospital, Dr. DS Rana, said that he had been admitted for routine tests. Sonia Gandhi was also admitted about six months before this. Earlier this year, Sonia Gandhi was taken to Sir Gangaram Hospital after complaining of abdominal pain.

Sonia Gandhi has been going to the US for medical checkups till last year. During this, his son Rahul Gandhi or daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are with him.

Delhiites are troubled by pollution

Pollution has increased in the capital of Delhi and surrounding areas. The Air Quality Index (AQI) has reached the ‘severe’ category. Because of this, firecrackers have been banned in Delhi-NCR before Diwali. In addition, burning of straw is banned in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh. Despite this, the pollution situation has not improved. The AQI here is consistently running above 270.
