The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened an online correction window to make changes in the exam city for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2020. In such a situation, if the candidates who want to appear in the exam want to change the exam city, then they can make changes through the official website ctet.nic.in. Candidates can change the city of the examination center by 16 November 2020 and can choose the city of the examination center as per their convenience. This examination, which was postponed due to Corona, will now be held on 31 January 2021.
Examination will be held in 135 cities
CBSE will now conduct the exam in 135 cities. Earlier this exam was to be held in 112 cities. But, later the number of cities of examination centers has been increased. Detailed information about this is given on the official website. CTET is conducted twice every year in July and December. Candidates who have passed this exam can apply for teacher recruitment in Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya and other schools. Earlier this exam was to be held on July 5, but due to Corona, its date was extended.
Increase in number of examination cities
Regarding the arrangements made for the examination, the board said that all the Corona guidelines like social distancing will be followed during the exam. In keeping with social distancing in this sequence, centers have also been set up in some new cities for the examination. These cities include Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Begusarai, Gopalganj, Purnia, Rohtas, Saharsa, Saran, Bhilai, Durg, Bilaspur, Hazaribagh, Jamshedpur, Ludhiana, Ambedkaranagar, Bijnor, Bulandshahar, Deoria, Gonda, Mainpuri, Pratapgarh, Pratapgarh, Shahjhan And Udham Singh Nagar.
