Airtel and Vodafone-Idea, along with Reliance Jio, the country’s largest telecom company, lag behind BSNL in terms of voice quality. According to the report of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), BSNL has been the best in terms of voice quality. TRAI has prepared this report based on the user feedback received on the My Call app.

Based on the feedback received from the users, BSNL was the first number in terms of voice call quality. At the same time, both Jio and Vodafone finished second. Airtel was ranked third. That is, all these companies giving high speed data to customers failed in the matter of voice quality.

Rating based on voice sample
According to the updated data on the TRAI website till 5 November, BSNL was given a 3.4 star rating out of 5 by 2014 users. At the same time, Reliance Jio and Vodafone received a 3.3 star rating. However, Jio was rated by 10,292 users and Vodafone was rated based on 3,408 samples. Airtel received a 3.0 star rating based on 9,520 samples. At the same time, Idea got a 2.9 star rating based on 977 samples.

Live the worst while traveling
The data observed the difference between call quality during indoor, outdoor and traveling. BSNL has given the highest rating to users regarding the call quality received during travel. BSNL has got a rating of 4.4, Airtel has 3.3 and Jio 3.2 rating for travel call quality. These data are prepared on the basis of information received by users of all states.

Based on the sample received by the users, it came out that only 60 percent of the users were happy about the call quality, while 26 percent of the calls had poor voice quality and 14 percent had call drops.
